There are several different wedding cupcake recipes that you are sure to enjoy that can cater to your theme, however, there is one that is more popular for any type of wedding.

This wedding cupcake recipe is for white cupcakes with a delectable buttercream frosting. To create these cupcakes yourself, you will need for the frosting, 16 tablespoons of softened butter (not melted, just a bit soft), 2 pounds of powdered sugar or confectioners sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (you can substitute your favorite flavoring such as coconut, peppermint, and lemon), and 4 to 8 tablespoons of milk. For the cupcakes you will need 2 cups of butter, 4 cups of granulated sugar, 2 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract (can also be substituted to different flavorings), 8 eggs, 6 cups of all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of baking powder, 2 cups of milk.

To prepare you begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, mix together the butter and sugar until well blended and is fluffy. Now, slowly add the eggs and mix again until well blended. Next, you add the vanilla and mix well. In a large bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. To this mixture add a bit of the butter mixture, blend well, add a bit of the milk and keep alternating until all items have been added and mixed together well. Pour the batter into the cupcake pan about ¾ of the way full. Bake for around 22 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bounces back when touched.

To make the frosting, you should add together the sugar and butter until fluffy then add the vanilla and milk slowly blending together until smooth. After the cupcakes have cooled for around 30 to 45 minutes, you will be able to frost them.

Remember, once again, you do not have to have a white cake or white cupcakes for your wedding. You can create all kinds of wedding cupcake recipes that work well with your wedding theme.
